SHORT-STACK #1 Sells It’s 150th Issue! With A Ton Of Thanks To Discount Comic Book Service!
Good news on the SHORT-STACK front as we have sold twenty more copies with the help of Discount Comic Book Service - moving our total sales for Issue #1 of ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY! For those of you who missed out on the special price of $1.75 through DCBS this month can still get it for 35% off for only $2.59! Thanks to Zach, Cameron, and everyone at DCBS for all the help and support!
Not to mention the guys over at the Comic Geek Speak podcast, our sponsorships of a coupla’ episodes led to several purchasers from Chicago mention they heard of our little tale from the show - plus an interview with both Drew and I from the Con floor a coupla’ days later. Also, we’d like to thanks the boy’s over at 11 O’Clock Comics, Indie Spinner Rack, and Comics News Insider for highlighting SHORT-STACK on their podcasts. All of you do a ton of work for (and let people know about so many new and different books) for no, or very little, money - other than your for the passion of the medium.
We really, truly, appreciate you picking up the book and your support. Drew and I have always said if ten people care enough to buy the book and want the next issue we would keep doing it - and it looks like we’re doing better than that, so far...tell your friends. Show it to guests who come over. By the end we have quite a few surprises in store (not to mention more of Drew’s KICK-ASS art...).
As for the status of Issue #2 of SHORT-STACK, well, Drew is done with painting through Page #16 (of twenty-two), and it should be ready soon enough - some might say one would think right around the time of the start of next Con-season...
Now to the poll (please respond in the comments section to the right), and c’mon, and use your real name and what you think!...
“In a never ending effort to defray costs of traveling to shows (airline, hotel, convention table) we are always trying to think of new revenue streams (we’re already adding high-quality art prints for our table) for the ol’ Paper Dream Productions. My current thought is this...
An all white T-Shirt with the following in black lettering across the breast of the shirt, centered.”

With some subtle advertising/logo location we would put the “Thought Balloon” Paper Dream Productions logo (see below) as an external “tag” on the back of the shirt.
Have a new, or better slogan? Please let us know of your ideas and help us out! Just use the “Add A Comment” button to the right.
Thanks again everyone!

At Oskar Blues, we dig bodacious beer. We carefully craft our robust brews in small (20-barrel) batches with loads of the best ingredients. In 2002 we became the first US microbrewery to brew and can its own beer. We started hand canning our beer two cans at a time, on a small table-top machine. Our uncanny efforts have also allowed us to enjoy some head-spinning excitement. Since we began canning, our beers have won loads of honors and accolades and we've grown by over 800%. We're now the largest-producing brewpub in the United States (hooray!) and our scrappy little outfit is one of the most talked about craft breweries in America. Check us out at www.oskarblues.com.
