AMAZONIAN ADVENTURES
CCBD offers unique opportunities to experience biological mega-diversity in the heart of the upper Amazonian rainforest, while learning from native elders and cultural masters.
Our offerings are born of long-term friendships and standing invitations for us to return with friends.
Originally part of Sentient Experientials, CCBD Amazonian Adventures establishes its own brand of rainforest adventures and cultural tours. One of our most popular workshops, "Plants as Teachers, Traditional Wisdom and Rainforest Conservation Strategies," is held each year in a remote Amazon region. Each year we also host a Rainforest Plant Medicine Council Gathering at Guaria de Osa in Costa Rica.
Amazonian Adventures takes you to Secoya Territory and the Amazanga community, where you live among indigenous tribes. Our tours allow you to explore the Jade Green Llushin River wilderness in Sangay National Park, tour the highlands and cloud forests of Ecuador and participate in reforestation efforts in the Tropical Andes, the richest biodiversity hotspot and one of the most remarkable places on Earth.
Amazonian Adventures is a fundraising venture in its entirety. CCBD channels all proceeds from these tours to ground-level conservation projects on indigenous lands in the Amazon.
The remarkable thing about the [Amazonian Adventures] staff is their connection with traditional native peoples, not by eco-tourist agreement but the time honored relationship of trust, friendship and open heart.

I directly experienced the spiritual depth, beauty and living presence of the rainforest -- the power and beauty of the earth, as a living being. I recommend this journey for all conscious individuals seeking to connect with their original nature exploring potential for greater healing and wholeness.
