J.s.m. Wood works
Introduction
My name is Jon Manss and my craft is fine wood working. I have developed my own designs based primarily on the Arts and Craft style. I use fine hardwoods and materials such marble, fabrics, glass, paper, lighting and even my own watercolors to produce furniture and lighting fixtures. The majority of my work is custom made to my client’s needs and desires. I have several pieces that have been reproduced many times and have become (line products) which you will see in my portfolio.
My work is currently in Half Moon Bay at Gallery M and in San Jose at Willow Glen Kitchens and Bath. I have been involved with the Santa Cruz event known as Open Studios for the last three years. The October weekend tour allows the public to enter Artist’s studios and see how their crafts are created. This is a juried event and is always an honor to be accepted. It is sponsored by The Cultural Council of Santa Cruz County. Please come and see me next October.
