Mission and Vision Statements

Sean and Steve are charged with the mission of playing music that they’re enthusiastic about and pushing the envelope a bit. Music typically features some new releases in contemporary instrumental music (aka jazz) but also will likely include post-bop, avant-garde, and electronica with some vocals and blues creeping in. Sean often reverts to classic Blue Note releases of the mid-60’s while Steve lapses into ECM material from the 70’s to the present...

We’re still a little fuzzy on the vision thing.... It seems to involve exploration, education, and enlightenment for ourselves, perhaps for listeners, and hopefully some entertainment....
