For many years Gray and Brown have been the only colors available in prescription polarized lenses.  Although in many cases these colors were an adequate solution for the patient, two color choices are ultimately not sufficient to meet the needs of all patients. Someone using their sunglasses for driving will have very different needs than someone who is using their sunglasses for target shooting.
