Over time, many college & high school students have asked how they can keep their faith, practice it and grow in that faith while they are in college. It’s one of the greatest challenges in life since the American college campus and high schools are, by and large, a battle ground where the future of our moral and faith life is determined.
Many students see the high school and college years as an opportunity to indulge in whatever behavior appeals to them. They subscribe to the idea that this status quo is expected of them (which unfortunately is increasingly true), and believe the misconception that bad moral choices will not result in any lasting problems or negative consequences. I seriously doubt if many people plan on becoming alcoholics, drug addicts, divorcees, adulterers, absent fathers, single mothers, etc., it is often just that they do not see the connection between their actions today, when they are in college, and their ability to live out their dreams when the college parties have ended. People believe that at some point of their choosing, be it graduation, marriage, the birth of their first child, or whatever, they will simply become the wonderful person that want to be. Essentially, the idea of virtue is absent.
This page is here to help you (in some small way) grow in virtue, learn more about the faith using web resources and, hopefully, grow in the daily, ordinary life of faith and a deep friendship with Christ through practical tools.
