Starting this weekend, I will be traveling for 4/5 weeks.  Crossing the Pacific to visit Amber’s folks, we will spend 2 weeks in Indonesia.  After returning I will take a 2 week road trip around the Pacific Northwest with some really good people.

Take a look at my itinerary and let me know if I can’t stand to miss something in an area you may know about.

2 Weeks in Indonesia

May 15th-Fly to Jakarta, Indonesia

May 19th-26th-Explore the Island of Sulawesi.  We will stay in the Northwest corner of the island, where the diving is supposed to be world class.

We’ll be at the Kima Bajo and Kungkungan, click to see what it’ll be like.

May 26th-29th-Back to Jackarta to explore the city and take it what it must be like to live as Expats in The Far East.

May 30th-June 6th-Return to Ketchum for a week of work and preparing for John Langdon’s arrival.

June 7th-Ketchum, ID-Day hike in Copper Canyon.  Don’t have one picked out yet, but will take Langdon out Trail Creek to show some scenery. 

2 Week Pacific North West Road Trip in Betsy, my 1989 Jeep Wrangler.

June 8-10th-Lowman, Idaho-Camp at Scenic View Campground outside Lowman.  On the 9th we will be White Water Rafting the South Fork of the Payette River.  See a video from last year.

June 10th-12th-Camp at Tumalo State Campground outside Bend, Oregon.  Need suggestions for a “must do” in Bend, but would love to day hike, fish, and take in Bend by the river.

June 12-14-Merril, Oregon-Watch good friends Andy and Miranda get married at her families ranch in Merrill, Oregon.  Here John and I will be joined by two beauties, Brooke and Amber.  We are greatly looking forward to this treat. 

June 14th-16-Shasta Lake, California-Meet Rob and Kelly Kelly and posse to live, fish and be merry by the river.  Check out our pad to see the hot tub!

June 16th-18th-Redwood National Park-Amber and I will say goodbye and make a lifetime dream happen for both of us.  We are camping at Prarie Creek State Park Campground and plan to drive to the Tall Tree Groves and hike the Rhododendron Trail.

June 18th-20th-Portland, OR-After driving the Oregon coastline with a stop in Port Orford, we are anxious to see what all the great fuss is about in Portland.  Whenever people find out we’re here from Austin, they reference Portland.  Need suggestions here too, all we have is read The Frugal Traveler, Portland Oregon in the NYTimes.

June 21st-Ketchum, ID-Back in The Wood River Valley just in time to experience a summer in the mountains.
