About this site

This is my space ... in another space that I call Vapor Space.

I could have done a MySpace page, but I’m thinking that I am getting tired of falling all over the advertising hype that comes along with the whole MySpace and YouTube experience. I think I am just getting weary of being sold to all the time.

One of my friends told me once that she signs up for all these personal file sharing and networking sites, just to ignore them. I think she gets off on this sense of satisfaction knowing that every day she ignores this phenomena, it’s some sort of  personal victory over her computer. I don’t know. But, I would have to say that my computers pretty much have me by the balls.

Although, I wouldn’t say that computers rule my life, I think they complement it. It’s a digital age, so they say.  It’s such a creative outlet. It’s intoxicating,

I don’t know where this little personal home page is taking me. But, that’s half the fun of it.  I just wanted a little spot to share some video, maybe the occasional blog. I like to write. People have told me they like to read what I write.  I hope you find something you enjoy. It’s a work in progress.

About the person

Name: James K. Renaldo

Age: 49

I think you can learn a lot about people, just by asking them if they listen to music, or not. It doesn't matter what kind of music they listen to. You just want to know if they are listening.

It’s along those lines that I thought I would start my little space off with some music. Allow me to share a little bit of what I am currently listening to. See if you can learn anything about me. There is nothing earth-shaking or avant-garde in this play list. It’s just music that has been shuffling through my IPod, more frequently than the other thousands of songs in my collection.

If you have ITunes installed, clicking on the arrows next to the song will open the application and allow you to sample the song and learn something about the artist. If you don’t have ITunes, I’m not sure what happens when you follow these links.

One of the best internet radio stations on the planet. No commercials. Very eclectic music, from alternative to classical, to jazz and everything in between, Although, I don’t hear much Country music, y’all.

Buffalo After Midnight

In 1988 I had the opportunity to produce three 60 minute television shows, called Buffalo After Midnight. This little foray  into broadcast television didn’t end well for me, at all. I almost went broke. At 29, I got my ass handed to me. However, I managed to get some outstanding footage.

I found myself just dubbing this footage over to DVD to save it from our 100 degree storeroom. I made the dupe directly from the 1” show tape. Sadly, much of the original field footage was lost to time. I recall rolling over (reusing) my tapes, just to save some money. What a rookie mistake.

Anyway ... I am slowly pulling together some 10 minute segments, and posting them on YouTube. I also have them available in this space, in Podcast format. They are much better quality here.

I want to acknowledge all the old friends who helped out on this project. It’s for that reason I left the show credits in on every segment.

You guys and gals caught on quick that we were doing something cool and worthwhile. I apologize for not being able to follow through, but it was fun while it lasted.

There are a couple other video pages in this space that are not listed in the menu. The movies are of two different types of vegetable planters our company manufactures. If you are interested in seeing what a vegetable planter is, go here
