The WVU Printmaking Department has a close relationship with Artists Image Resource (AIR), a fine-art printmaking workshop and gallery located in Pittsburgh, PA.  Students get the opportunity to work with AIR printers and artists from around the country.  Students also get the opportunity to run an edition using AIR’s facilities.
Artists Image Resource Mentoring and Internship program:
Mattress Factory/ARTLab:
WVU Printmaking students have the opportunity to help with a monthly workshop at The Mattress Factory Art Museum located in Pittsburgh, PA.  The Mattress Factory is a museum of contemporary art and installation.  It was created in 1977 and is one of the few museums of its kind anywhere.
Andy Warhol Museum:
WVU Printmaking students have the opportunity to have an internship at the Andy Warhol Museum.  The Andy Warhol Museum is a vital forum in which diverse audiences of artists, scholars and the general public are galvanized through creative interaction with the art and life of Andy Warhol.  The Warhol is one of the four Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh and is a collaborative project of the Carnegie Institute, Dia Center for the Arts, and The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Inc.
