About the Artist
Joe DiVerde is a graduate of the
American Academy of Art in Chicago.
His professional commercial art career
began as an apprentice at Whittaker
Guernsey Studio in Chicago. He later
worked as art director at two publishing
companies and then started his own independent advertising art and design studio with his wife Cindy.
After 28 years of designing print ads,
brochures, catalogs, logos, plus
creating line drawings and illustrations
he turned to pursuing the art of fine art
painting.
Joe studies and learns from his favorite
artists past and present, they include
Rembrandt, John Singer Sargent,
Nelson Shanks, Burton Silverman,
Daniel Greene, David Leffel and others.
Member of Oil Painters of America.
