Why do you charge for the images?
This is my business, it has taken a lot of time, energy and money to be able to supply you with quality images. You wont find many pro photographers out on the trail in all types of weather, it can be a thankless task only undertaken by those like myself who are passionate for the sport. I do this full time, it’s not just a weekend ‘hobby’, this is what I do to pay the bills.
I get to the races early in the morning and leave after most people are gone at the end of the day. When I get home I spend another 4-8 hours getting the 800-2000 images organized and uploaded to mine and British Cycling’s web sites (which costs £’s). I have thousands invested in camera and computer equipment and have invested well over 8 years of dedicated devotion to this sport and my profession.
So please bear in mind when you pay for an image (mine or others) you are providing motivation for other professional photographers to cover races...
What are you paying for?
As a professional image maker, I take the time and effort to invest not only in my equipment but also in the creativity of the images I take, ensuring you get a quality photograph of your participation of any event. The prices indicated help towards ensuring there is always a professional photographer at an event providing top quality images and are for private usage only. All images on this site and images provided to British Cycling are copyrighted to Joolze Dymond, please be courteous and don’t help yourself to my images, without asking and paying the appropriate fee.
If you are buying prints or image files you are also paying for the time I put into each image when it’s prepared for sale to ensure you have the best image I can supply you with. Whether this means cloning out unsightly blemishes, or just tweaking levels it all takes time, which I’m happy to do, to ensure you have the best I can supply.
If you wish to use these images for any commercial purpose such as advertising or on your team or business' web site, you must obtain my permission first. I will charge a fee for such usage. Printed Images:
All prints are professionally printed by myself, using an Epson R2400 printer and generic Epson Ultra Chrome K3 inks, together with specific archival paper, to ensure longivity. I take time to carefully prepare the print to make sure you get the best quality output, something I wouldn’t rely on an outside resource to do. Sometimes I supply pearl finishes and sometime I supply Gloss. At the moment prints supplied on gloss/320 gsm .Details of prices and sizes available in the BUY Now section above.
Digital Images:

Image Quality:
The images that appear in my online galleries are not intended to showcase the quality of my images but to give you an idea of how the shot is composed. After you order I process the image by hand, making sure you get the best possible image.
Back Catalogue:
I keep all images taken over the years in my archive, so if you really want that shot from 2005 Mountain Mayhem, it’ll still be here on my hard drive...
