Twentfour/12 ’08

Masses of riders made their pilgrimage to the 3rd, 24/12 with hopes that this year would be a dry one! The event this year was set in the gorgeous lands of Newnham Park, a much loved venue for both XC and Enduro riders, offering a variety of long longs, giggle inducing singletrack, and a river crossing or two, it was certainly designed to keep you entertained whether you rode the 12 hr or the 24 and fun was at the heart of everything!

That said the racing was fierce, with some pretty close outcomes in lots of categories, but for everybody the sheer enjoyment of riding around the classic Newnham trails, coupled with a brilliantly hot ( at last) weekend, plus the chilled out atmosphere, certainly made it a weekend to remember.
