It’s a long way from the grounds of the Phillips Exeter Academy (shown above left) to the Camphill community in Callan, Ireland. From June 18-25, 2008 various members of the Exeter community joined Patrick Lydon PEA ’68 (shown above right) for a week of service at this community for the mentally challenged. Alumni, current students, parents and Academy staff assisted in cleaning out a workhouse complex that dates to the 1840’s.
