Blue Faced Leicester (BFL) is one of the first yarns in my collection... a beautifully versatile sock weight yarn that doesn’t mind being put on larger needles and knitted into pretty much anything.
The BFL takes the dyes so well, colours are strong, bright and so vivid that even the subtler shades are wonderfully colourful. Each 100g hank of BFL is £9, with more than enough for any sock project, recommended needle size for average sock is 2.5 mm, but for a super quick knit try going up to 3 mm.
