Ingredients
- ½ onion, sliced thinly
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- olive oil
- dash paprika
- 1 tomato, peeled and chopped
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 14 ½ ounces green beans
- salt and pepper
- dash cayenne pepper
Method
Sprinkle paprika over the onion and garlic. Saute onion and garlic int he olive oil until soft. Add the fresh tomato, tomato sauce and seasioning. Let sauce simmer until slightly thickened. Add drained green beans and simmer slowly until warmed through. These beans taste much better after they sit in the sauce and absorb some of the flavor.
