This is where it begins--a new revolution in Photo Video and Design.  When we first had the idea for greenhousestudios, two passions lit our fire: a passion for good art, and a passion for the planet.  Good art is something hard to find in this business.  Stale, lifeless work has been accepted as “the way it is.”  The bar has been set low, and despite a few exceptions, most of what is produced in today’s local market is uniformly bland.  And while the advances in digital acquisition and paperless workflows continue to make this field more ecologically viable, there is always more that can be done.  But the bottom line is made of dollar signs.  It all comes back to the client and their budget. 

For the small market production company, there are basically two fish in the pond: the small-time lowballers with very little experience or artistic vision, who dredge the bottom to make a quick hundred bucks on the weekend, and the entrenched production houses with long client lists, who can turn quite a profit on less than one or two jobs per month and turn their nose up at anyone who doesn’t have deep pockets. 

This is where we come in.  At greenhousestudios we want to bridge those gaps between creativity, affordability, and sustainability.  Whether it’s a simple photo shoot for your next concert, a short video for your corporate website, or a logo design for your small business, we want you to love the way it looks, feel confident about the money you saved, and be proud about doing your part to help improve the world around you.  Anyone can follow a formula, but aren’t beauty and creativity the things that really move people.  And do beauty and creativity have to break your budget?  And is it too big of a dream to think that even a photo, video, or design project could play a part in making the world a better place?
