This micro site consists of photographs taken by Jonathan Ratnage on the Exodus Snowshoeing in Slovenia trip in February 2008.

We had good weather with clear blue skies and little or no wind. Temperatures were cold at night but quite warm during the day. Snow conditions were best high up in the Triglav mountains .

Spring had come early to Lake Bled where an abundance of early spring flowers were to be found in the woods and along the lake shore.

We were  guided by two very able Slovenian mountain guides and stayed in the very comfortable Penzion Lukanc in Selo just a kilometre’s walk from Lake Bled itself.
