There’s nothing wrong with my iPhone 3G. It IS actually faster once a connection is set up, but it spends so much time setting up and tearing down connections (bad latency), that you can barely tell the difference half the time from my old 2.5G iPhone (which finally died, thanks to being dropped a few too many times).
