Rowie is currently studying her Masters in Public Policy (is that right) through a scholarship in Singapore.  This was a picture that I took of her and her visiting boyfriend, CJ, during a lunch we had in Singapore a few months ago.  I really like Rowie, whenever I talk to her I see someone filled with hope and expectation as well as a person whose life is centered on Jesus.  I am happy that in CJ she has met a man that to me is more compatible for her (now if only he would take the weekend....)

 

A fond memory that I have of Rowie was that I hitched a ride with her once and the music in her car stereo was religious music.  Wow!  I think my car CD had some rock thing at that time.  But, that’s Rowie for you.  I am sure that Rowie will play a significant part in the development of our country in the future.  I see her being a part of a foundation that will uplift those in the Philippines who have less in life.  In all that she will do, her faith will be the compass that will set her toward the right path.
