Welcome to my bookblog. My background in brief: originally from Rochester, New York, living in Sweden since 1971. I am the author of more than 40 books about learning, schooling, humanistic leadership, values and communication. I have a Ph D in education from Uppsala University in Sweden, my M.Ed. from the University of Massachusetts and B.A. from the University of Michigan.

I love my writing, large group lecturing and doing so called strength interviews. My life theme is empowerment and all I do is with one purpose in mind: to remind people they have the power to influence their own lives, workplaces and communities. I believe in the power of positive psychology, building on strength and following one’s passions, yet my interest in politics says - reach your personal goals while also ensuring that others reach theirs.
