Johnny works across the range; comfortable in all genres from Natural History to the most intimate of social documentary.

Having travelled extensively he appreciates the need to be prepared for anything, and is MIRA qualified (Medicine in Remote Areas) to better equip himself for working in the far corners of the world.

With many projects now searching for the most remote locations;  Johnny has built up extensive experience in self direction and physically demanding and skilled access both underground and in all of the extreme weather conditions.

Johnny has a wealth of experience having worked in the harshest of environments - including; The Jungle, Desert, the Open Ocean and the Arctic.

He is an IRATA qualified rope access technician with extensive  jungle canopy, caving and various cliff face filming experience. He is also HSE Scuba (Media diver) Qualified in underwater filming.

Despite all of the adventure projects that Johnny has been involved in, he still enjoys the intimacy of a small documentary crew. Lighting and filming interviews and action, in the quest of telling people’s stories.
