From the Amazon to the Mediterranean, Cornwall’s own Garden of Eden represents a world in miniature. To the Eden Project’s painter in residence, John Dyer, it also presents a wonderful opportunity for creating inspiring art.

•The Eden Project is a fantastic visitor experience at all times of the year. We especially like visiting in early spring when ‘Bulb Mania!’ is on.

•The humid tropics biome is exactly that - so if you want to see the rainforest without the crowds pop along in January.

•In the summer head for the beach in the morning and then head to Eden for, or after lunch and stay into the evening. You will probably be able to avoid the queues and you will get a swim in as well. http://www.edenproject.com
