Wow! What a busy week! I had a crazy week of tying up loose ends, marking things off lists, last minute purchases and plans.  It was all so worth it! The night went perfect! We had initially hoped for 40-50 people to show up.  As the day of the event came our rsvp’s were over 50 so we were shooting 60-80.  We ended up with 106 ladies showing up for the “Along the way” evening! It was awesome! We had everyone from women thinking about getting pregnant to great grandmothers! Trudy did a great job speaking.  Women were teary eyed, laughing, and encouraged by her talk! I was so nervous to speak but i just prayed for God to give me peace and speak and i just spoke! No notes or anything which is totally unusual for me! I just got a chance to tell my story on what God has done in my life in regards to this verse adn speak about our needs as women to pass down wisdom to the generation following ours. Everyone seemed to be really excited about it and we are up and running. Lots to do now too, meeting with mentors and connecting women but it is exciting that it is off the ground! John took me on the best date the day after to get a couples massage and out to a nice dinner at my favorite--firebirds! We ate a delicious filet and came home and watched a movie in bed! The perfect end to a crazy busy, but wonderful week!
