My girl is 2 in 8 short hours. I can hardly believe it. I have a two year old?? My daughter sings and talks and knows all of her friends by name and most of their cars! It is crazy. I admit i was a little sentimental tonight when she was going to bed her last night as a 1 year old! See her video we made today in Podcast. She is talking by the dozens of new words each day now. It is wild what she picks up on too. John was on the phone the other day and said “thats crazy!” and now she loves to say “thats crazy mommy”. Once she said “mommy’s crazy” when i was singing in the car and I was like REESE! haha. And i love how she puts concepts together. For example, we taught her that she is precious (precious to us, a precious girl, etc).  We also taught her that God made her, that God made everything. Then one day she says “God made me precious.” I love it! She is a great sister, notice she can feed wheeler his bottle while we drive! So tomorrow i will try and do a blog dedication to her on the big day!

It has been a busy few weeks for us! I have been running crazy getting stuff together for my sister in law, Angela’s wedding and going out of town for 2 weeks. I have been to charlotte once for a wedding and once for a lake trip with Ashley. We had lots of fun with the kids in the water--lots of dock jumping, stick throwing, chasing, etc! They loved it! Wheeler’s reflux has had another little peak so that has been a hard last few weeks with sleep/throwing up/naps/crying spells, etc. But he is doing well. He is so giggly and smiley when he isnt in pain!    Counseling is going really well! John and i feel more connected, more quality communication, more in tune with each other spiritually, and more connected to our vision as a family than ever. Approaching our 4 year anniversary, i feel so content in our marriage and it couldn’t be much better now! I personally have lots going on too! I am helping out with a Mom’s ministry at church creating a program of Mentor Mom’s. Mom’s mentoring new moms in life, marriage, spiritual walk and just the details of being a new mom.  It all came from Titus 2 that God laid on John and I as a family 2 years ago. God is really fulfilling the verse he laid on our family in awesome ways lately. I was asked to help think of an idea to connect to new mom’s by our pastor’s wife (i have no idea why!) and that birthed from that, i am blessed to start the upcoming UNC girls group this fall, and John and I are working to really pour more into his team members at the store. God is giving us so many opportunities to really fulfill the purpose he has set before us and it is so exciting and gives me so much joy! Plus our small group is going great and i really do think God is doing a lot in each couple and we are excited as a group to serve in some awesome ways coming up this fall. God is so cool!
