Layne Sefton (XO) and I took a trip down to Junction Point Foxtrot (JPF) where one on the NZ platoons was based. On the way we stopped off at the UNHCR refugee transit camp. The trip involved crossing one of the major rivers in Cova Lima. It was a quiet little river when we crossed it on the way out but a raging torrent 30 minutes later when we crossed it on our return!
