Cassino Photos

In May 2004 I went to Italy for the 60th Anniversary of the Battle of Monte Cassino. It was a  humbling experience to spend time with veterans and to walk the ground with them, listening to them as they tell you about the battle, the town and the friends they lost. But as you can see, even 60 years on, they will still “appropriate” beer and drink it down the back of a bus.

Amazing Men.
