We will meet at the parking lot of the Nature Area.

Directions to the area from Interstatee 80 are as follows.

From Des Moines West on Interstate 80 to exit 104 (Earlham)

Go right north on I Ave about a mile to first stop sign - should be a brown conservation sign behind cedar trees at stop sign pointing left or West on Bear Creek Rd.

Road will go West for awhile then turn north.

Continue going North on Houston trail when Bear Creek Rd turns left or west.

There will be another conservation sign pointing straight ahead on Houston Trl, there will be a line of evergreens on the right and then the Nature Center and parking. If you view the satellite map and zoom in as large as you can you will see the Nature Center near the end of Houston Trail.
