The walk is on bike/hike path and then bushwacking with hiking trails.

Meet at the following descrbed parking lot. Directions - Take 45th Street south of Grand Avenue in Des Moines where it ends in a parking lot near Ashworth Pool. The recreation path starts at the south end of the parking lot.
