Day 7: Quena - Dendera - Luxor
We disembarked ship this morning  for a half-day visit to the Temple of Dendera built by Romans and Greeks and dedicated to Hathor—goddess of maternal and family love. The temple complex contains birth houses, a Coptic church, the Hathor Temple, and a Hypostyle Hall. Upon returning to the ship, we boarded the buses and headed back into Quena for a daytime city tour.  Again we did not leave the buses and had our extended compliment of guards. As lunch was served, our ship began cruising back to Luxor. We sat out on deck, watched everyday Nile River life, took afternoon tea in the lounge, and attended a port talk.
