This page is intended to give you a snapshot of my training and experience. It is by no means a full representation of what I bring to the psychotherapeutic relationship, but will inform prospective clients as to my professional background and areas of specialty.

Gay Men’s Health and Wellness

I have a particular interest in working with individuals and couples around keeping themselves and others healthy on every level. The following experiences have allowed me the opportunity to work with a diverse group of gay and lesbian clients in an effort to promote healthier living. 

	The Stonewall Project – harm reduction program for gay and bisexual men who use methamphetamine 
	Tweaker.org – peer prevention program addressing the intersection of HIV and drug use/abuse 
	Baker Places Inc., SF - Residential substance abuse and mental health treatment facilities
	San Francisco Suicide Prevention – Crisis counselor
	AIDS Health Project, HIV+ support group facilitation 

Research

My interest in Gay Men’s Health and HIV has also led me to working with UCSF / Center for AIDS Prevention Studies on the following clinical research projects:

     The Bay Men Study
     The Balance Project


In addition to my private practice, I am currently working for United Behavioral Health as a Care Manager. In this role, I assist patients in accessing care for severe mental health crises requiring hospitalization.
