Joey has been interested in art his entire life. Art has been one way for him to express himself. Drawing was his first passion then he enjoyed painting. A natural progression then went to the digital side of artwork. He is now involved in web design, graphic design, painting, and film.

In sixth grade Joey bought a guitar. He quickly got the hang of it and began learning his favorite artist’s songs. He then began to dabble in writing his own music. Since then he has been in several bands and has recorded three albums and is working on his fourth. Recently he has become interested in music for film.

Electronic Media at the University of Cincinnati offers a program called the Munich Summer Curriculum. MSC ’07 intrigued Joey and he recognized the great opportunity that this trip entailed.
