fixed: moving media pictures jerky.

added "day in year" to date container control.

augmented: movement and size control for picture of circle timeline when events angled (to                facilitate view and aid avoiding angled event text being cropped out of picture).

Updated to current version of RealStudio compiler (carbon app).

From previous unannounced versions since Jan 2008...

(not all updates announced beyond this web site)

from Version 0.9.6.1.6.1

Fixes programmer error in algorithm of timeline pic window for staggered horizontal events:  “minimum horizontal distance between record text” parameter now works.

from Version 0.9.6.1.60

Augmented: interactive timeline (not circle)

Hold space bar down on span or event part of timeline and if more than one record is “near” to the pixel (vertical) held by cursor a list of records (spans or events) will show them (double click list entree to show on timeline).  “Near” controlled by control-Click contextual menu on said list box.

A few other slight changes

from Version 0.9.6.1.50

Augmented: timeline Pic

Note: this is timeline pic window, not interactive timeline window.

  1. 1)staggered horizontal event text views (i.e. no blur if dense record distribution, but event height increases with density).

  2. 2)limited ability to modify text colors

A few bug fixes and/or minor reworks.

Recent UnAnnounced Version 0.9.7.0.1.0

October 11, 2010

Fix: crash on media list when copy files canceled.

Augmented: if a record has media pictures, they can be toggled to show in the timeline (interactive) window behind the timeline (or circle): select menu item “Options > Pic on Timeline” in interactive timeline window.  They are not copied to clipboard or saved with pic of timeline (or circle).  No documentation update.

Current Version 0.9.7.0.1.0.1

October 16, 2010

Augmented: media pictures on timeline may be shown either centered in the timeline window or displayed in a user defined rectangle within the timeline graph.  Media pictures’ transparency may be altered when shown in the timeline.  See program's "Help General" window for details (search for media).  Said media pics can now be copied to clipboard with timeline, see edit menu, second Copy item, the one with choices.  A few other minor fixes.  Note, last two versions won’t make much difference if you do not link pictures to your timeline records.  Read Me file now incorporated into program under Help menu; Help menu should no longer duplicate itself.

Alpha version FTLC Version 0.9.7.2.0.0, for Lion compatibility.  Nothing changed and I’m not sure if it works (I’m not yet on Lion).  Feedback appreciated.
