The National Dodgeball League’s Chicago Tournament consisted of the 10 teams. The Aberdeen Street Mafia Dodgeball NInjas were ready to rock. We played well in the round robin play, holding off our katana skills for later. The venue only gave the NDL two hours for the entire tournament, and we ran short on time during the bracket play. Instead of best-of-3 bracket play, it was cut down to single eliminations due to the time crunch. The ninjas played to their strengths, and maybe could’ve utilized the 5-inch stinger balls a bit better. Depaul’s squad also showed and it’s always a good time when we get together to form AberDeepaul. We hit up Buffalo Wild Wings with our cheerleaders and then came back to represent during the halftime show. Even though we didn’t take the tourny, the NDL president still invited us to Vegas for the World Dodgeball Convention. Go ninja go ninja go.
