On February 5, 2009, Jamie Orfanella came to Wyoming Valley Montessori School to led two presentations for our elementary and middle school students with instruments from around the world, representing various percussion and wind families. Among the instrument favorites were the Shakuhachi, classical Japanese bamboo flutes, and the Didgeridoo, Australian Aboriginal instruments. Mr. Orfanella was a former WVMS music teacher and parent of WVMS alumni student, Miles.
