One of the drivers involved in a three vehicle accident on Westbound Interstate 80 at the Kidwell Rd. off ramp talks on his cellular phone while waiting to talk to officers from the California Highway Patrol. According to the CHP, because of heavy traffic that had stopped on the freeway, the driver of the Hummer had stopped in the number four lane and may have been struck by the Honda Civic which was then hit by the Mini Cooper. The driver of the Honda was taken via ground ambulance to a local Hospital in with minor injuries. The drivers and passengers of the other two vehicle were uninjured.
