STARS Science Triathlon

 
 

The STARS Science Triathlon is a result of a pre-college initiative by the Howard Hughes Medical FoundationUT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas is one recipient of this award.  The grant is administered by STARS (Science Access to Resources at Southwestern).


There are three elements of the  Triathlon:


.•    The Triathlon itself, a 15-month training program for high school biology teachers that is offered every year.  Applications for the 2009-2010 are now available.

.•    Four Virtual Instruments, two of which are now freely available to public school teachers.

.•    Science Suitcases, portable demonstrations for high school biology classes.
