Science Suitcases
As a part of the STARS Science Triathlon, Science Suitcases are being developed. These are portable kits illustrating principles of specific high school biology subjects. The suitcases are being developed by graduate students in the UT Southwestern Biomedical Communications department in collaboration with the Dallas Museum of Nature and Science. The first two kits, Enzyme Instigator and Organelle Extravaganza, are now available for check-out by teachers in the DFW area. Two more kits, on evolution and photosynthesis, are in development and should be available in late 2009.
