Joe Bourne is known mainly for his warm, baritone singing voice and dynamic style of entertainment. However since 1995, Joe has added watercolor and acrylic painting to his repertoire.

 

While performing on the German cruise ship, the MS Europa sailing between "Manaus, Brazil and Capetown, South African", Joe was bit by the painting bug after attending a class in water- colors, just for the fun of it.  Since then he has attended several artists' workshops and has created more than 100 paintings in water- colors and acrylics. The paintings are mostly influenced by his concert travels around the world. Joe has participated in several exhibits in the Netherlands as well as in the USA. With a fondness for vivid colors, his subject matter is very broad, ranging from realistic to abstract.
