Day Eleven

Thursday night I had a very sound night’s sleep. After some breakfast it I took the bus through Paris back to St. Sulpice to take some formal photos of Vincent and to visit with him for a bit. After getting the keys to the organ loft we went up. Once we opened the gate up in the loft we set off the alarm! Well, I got my cell phone out and quickly called Daniel Roth – thoughts of attempting to explain to a Paris Police Officer what I was doing, and thought of Vincent and me in jail, ran through my head. Alas, everything was taken care of soon enough. We took our pictures, and Vincent and I sat down for a soda. He is an amazing young man who has accomplished a tremendous amount in his short career. Then I jumped the bus again to get to Michel Gousu’s home for a fine lunch Camille made with some choir friends to discuss possible recording next year for choir and organ. After this it was off to the airport by metro and RER and good bye to Europe for 2006. The planning had already begun for planning recording projects in France, Germany and England in 2007, so stay tuned.
