Joanne Jenkins
I started developing this website in February 2007 as a professional development opportunity:
-to use technology as a transparent communicative and creative tool to support learning
-to serve as a reflection of aspects of my professional career as an educational leader
-to share my passion and experience as a Spanish, ESL and French teacher in the US, British Columbia, Canada and France as well as having been Vice Principal of a French immersion school and an English elementary school.
I am currently serving as a French Immersion and FSL teacher at École Bayside Middle School in Brentwood Bay, near Victoria in British Columbia with School District 63 (Saanich).
