Je parle Francais. I broke the international space station, and can prove it. For some reason, I have government secret clearance. Came Third place in the 1988 Canadian National Science Fair for improving the efficiency of DC electric motors. I've flown over a million and a quarter miles (commercially).

I play the piano often, however, I don't read music. I play by ear. The piano shown here is a 1908 Steinway Model O, built in New York, and rebuilt in 1996. During its reconstruction, a computerized player mechanism was added. This allows me to see and hear music played by others so that I too can then play it. There is almost nothing more pleasing to me than the sound of an acoustic piano - a Steinway, playing romantic classical or classical jazz.

Shown here is one of my life long dreams - to find and completely renovate an antique Victorian. This specimen was built in 1889, and due to the economic conditions of the town and neighborhood, suffered through bare minimum maintenance for the past 5 decades.

From January 2000 through June 2001 it was practically my life to bring the class, beauty and comfort back to this home as it must have been 114 years ago.
