Bianco for Judge, P.O Box 5787, Santa Monica CA 90409-5787, FPPC ID# 1301604

In seventeen years in practice prior to being chosen as a bench officer, Commissioner Bianco worked as a prosecutor, civil litigator, and criminal defense lawyer, and as a part-time teacher at USC Law School.

Commissioner James Bianco has served as a Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner since 2005, performing many of the same functions as the judges on his court.  Commissioner Bianco currently presides over a criminal courtroom, conducting jury trials, as well as pretrial proceedings and sentencing hearings, in a wide variety of cases, including the most serious felony offenses brought in Los Angeles.  He has earned a reputation as hard-working, fair, and considerate to all parties who appear before him.

Commissioner Bianco is endorsed by more than two hundred of his fellow superior court

judges, commissioners, and referees,  as well as law enforcement, legislators, and appellate justices.
