Thanks for visiting the OLPS website. The Community Orchestra is in its third year. Instrumentation for the OLPS Community Orchestra will be for Violin I, Violin II, Viola, Cello, String Bass Oboe II, Bassoon II, Clarinet II Trombone I and II, French Horn II, Tuba Percussion The rehearsal and performance schedule is outlined in the Community Orchestra section. Mrs. Mutter is planning to perform Beethoven’s 5th Symphony (1st movement) and Egmont Overture this year, as well as other exciting pieces. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ The Jazz Orchestra is just beginning. Instrumentation for the OLPS Jazz Orchestra will be for Saxophone (all types), Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Bass (electric or acoustic), Guitar, Drums/Percussion (vibraphone) and Piano. The rehearsal schedule is outlined in the Jazz Orchestra section. Performances will be arranged by Mr. James and will be announced at rehearsals. All types of jazz music will be considered.
