Following the Star to Liberia

Isaiah 30:18
“Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; He rises to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him!”

It’s been a year since we started on this journey of following the star to Liberia. We realize that throughout the deputation process, one thing has been quite evident. The Lord has been gracious, full of compassion and justice as it is written in His Word shown above. And when we waited for Him, we have been blessed.
Although waiting on the Lord was not easy at times (ok, many times) the results were always amazing. We are so thankful that He is in charge of this journey and that He is in faithful. The lessons we’ve learned have been worth every minute of His faith-stretching circumstances

On It’s Way!
Over the weekend of September 29-30, we traveled to Baltimore to ship the car the Lord blessed us with plus some personal/ministry items. The people who work for Apollo Warehouse were wonderful. Theresa (photo above), the supervisor, is now our newest prayer partner! Michael, whose photo is also above, asked us to pray for his mom. She is still in Jamaica and he really misses her. He is working to bring her to the States.

What’s next?
Many of our partners have asked this question recently. Here’s what lies ahead......

With many last minute details to attend to, praying and waiting for our start-up funds to be at 100% is important. We need to reach our goal within the next 2 weeks so that we can purchase our tickets and send for our visas.
We cannot leave for Liberia until this goal is reached. Please join us in praying that God would once again open the windows of heaven and pour out His blessing. We trust His hand and timing as we wait on Him.

Car for Sale......SOLD!!
Another one of those last minute items to attend to was the sale of our ’95 Jeep Grand Cherokee. This car has been such a blessing to us and we wanted the Lord to bless the next owner. A couple from New Hope Ministries in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, saw our For Sale sign and bought it! They are graciously allowing us to keep the car until the 20th. We are praising God for this quick answer to prayer!
