OMOI is one of the coolest placest to find some of the coolest things from aroudn the world.  It comes by way of Japan in many cases. but that’s not a rule.  come to think of it, i don’t  really think they play by rules.  They live in a quiet secluded part of Pine street, which is a great place to incubate some of the city’s premier consumer oddities. 

Walking in is overwhelming at first, but the more you dig the more amazing stuff you find.  it’s a wonderful place to wile away an hour, but for those of you who have never been, this saturday the kindly people of OMOI will help provide us a guide to their ethos and show us what the store is all about.

I’m particularly interested in figuring out where the chainsaw-wielding bunnies come from, but that could of course be a trade secret...
