Lizzy is studying Drawing at Studio W with renowned artist Yvette Woods.
Yvette Woods is a local artist who taught Advanced Drawing, Design, and Sculpture at Meramec Community College for 30 years, and she was the subject of a feature story in Essence Magazine. She’s retired now, but is still sharing her gift with students at her own studio.
Her "Wearable Art" has sold at the St. Louis Art Museum's Gift Shop, St. Louis University Art Museum's Gift Shop and The Shaw's Botanical Garden Gift Shop.
She was also one of the first artists featured in Currents 2 at the St Louis Art Museum where she was given an entire room and an extended area from may 11 to July 1, 1979. Currents is a series created by the St Louis Art Museum to showcase local artists that is still running today.
