My Life’s Journey

My life journey began on January 16th. I was 18 months old. Up till this time I was a pretty normal little boy. I loved the movie Cars and I also liked Elmo. These are my favorite things. I loved to play with everyone. I loved to give everyone hugs and kisses. My mom and dad and brother and sister gave me whatever I wanted. I have them wrapped around my finger. My dad came home early from work this day and my mom left to go pick Jessica and Jack up from school. When my dad was in the bathroom, I decided to explore. So I went through the doggy door from the house to the garage and then through another doggy door from the garage to the side yard. I then crawled under our RV to the side gate. To my surprise the gate was opened, so I ventured to the pool. At this point I don’t really remember what happen next, I just know that daddy pulled me out of the pool and did CPR on me to get me to breath. He did a great job because I through up and was able to breath again. The ambulance and fire trucks came then and started doing all these weird things to me. They took me to Simi Valley Emergency and when I was there, they put a tube down my throat to help me to breath. They then took me in the ambulance again to Northridge Hospital. More nurses and doctors messed with me. I then slept for about 8 days until the doctors took me off some medicine and I was able to wake up. After eleven days the doctors took the tube out of my mouth and I was able to breath on my own. I also was able to cry, but I couldn’t do much else. After 5 weeks in the hospital I was sent home. I have a g-tube in my stomach to help me eat.

You can read in more details about my recovery in the update section.
