Joe LaBarbera has been awarded the 2006 Wisconsin Crime Prevention Practitioners Association Program of the Year in the Media Category.

The 2006 Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Achievement Award for statewide media training is presented to Joe LaBarbera, President of LaBarbera Media Group, LLC.

Joe is one of only 30 people nominated nationwide for the 2008 Law Officer Trainer of the Year Award. The award is given by Law Officer Magazine to someone with outstanding training ability and strong leadership skills. Nominees must exhibit strong interpersonal skills and have a long term commitment to law enforcement training.
