For the sake of ease of use and simplicity, I’ve used the Apple “.Mac” service for the past 8 years or so to host my personal home page.  For the most part it’s really just been a site for us to use as a homepage for personal pictures, information, and links to other sites.  

 

In their infinite wisdom, Apple is discontinuing the use of the “Sites” folder in .Mac and is forcing all “homepage.mac.com” users to switch to another service or use the iWeb Service.  So, for now, I’ll try out iWeb for our homepage and see how it works.

 

Please note that this is a “work in progress”.  The Blog link at the top will eventually be active; however, for now, it just has a bunch of placeholder information.  This will be changed soon. I am also planning to add a photo gallery, a links page, and some other content - mainly for personal use.  The links you see to the right of our picture above are just quick jump links for me and the family.  More to come in the future for the whole page.
