The Choirs
The Lebanon Worship Choirs consist of three distinct groups; The Lebanon Children’s Worship Choir, The Lebanon Youth Worship Choir & Band, and The Lebanon Adult Worship Choir. Launched in 2006 by James and Kristen Kenniv, the choirs seek to gather like-minded believers to worship the Lord in Spirit and in Truth. Our goal is to produce quality performances that move both performer and observer into a more intimate relationship with God.

The choirs are community based, open to all people, and not sponsored by any one “church.” Our desire is to bring individuals and families together to worship as the Church.

The 2008-2009 Season
This season the choirs will produce two programs where all three choirs will perform together. The first program will be on December 16th, and will focus on Jesus as the Light of the world. This performance will feature an original production written and arranged by local composers. The choirs will perform with a live brass ensemble.

The second performance will be on Saturday, April 25th, and will be of a fun, light nature celebrating our joy in the Lord and His resurrection.

Descriptions
  1. Created for students from 1st to 6th grades, the Children’s Choir works on songs with two and three part harmony arranged specifically for young voices. Teamwork and leadership skills are instilled in the children in a positive (and humorous) learning environment. For more information visit the Children’s Choir web page.
  2.
  3. The Youth Choir and Band is for students from 7th through 12th grades who desire to be challenged musically and spiritually. The group will participate in the combined choir performances in December and April, as well as lead for various worship events during the year (TBA). For more information visit the Youth Choir’s web page.

  5. Those that desire to be in the Youth Band will need to audition for the directors. As we do not have time to do private instruction during our rehearsal time, we need a certain level of musicianship with which to work.

  7. The Adult Choir is for high-school grads on up. This SATB group combines laughter, talent, discipleship and challenging music to produce a very unique musical experience! For more information visit the Adult Choir’s web page.
